“ Stopped in while waiting for our daughter's flight to take off. Fantastic atmosphere. Staff and owner are very hospitable and friendly. Loaded tots are spot on and the house creme is on point. Ordered a Season of the Witch and house Old Fashion. The Witch is an incredible fusion of flavors and smooth to drink. The Old Fashion with OF 1910 was a perfect example of what and Old Fasion should be. Ruby the bartender should be commended on her mixology skills. ”
“ The bartenders are awesome. Very familiar with alcohol and beers. Great food nice atmosphere Can be very crowded due to how fantastic the Mule Bar is ”
“ Favorite bar in Winooski! Great selection of beers and food, with fun specials throughout the week. I particularly like the chicken sandwiches. The staff are all friendly and kind and the vibe is sort of warm and cozy. Gets a little full sometimes but there is some outdoor seating. ”
“ When in Vermont I was seeking out some of the more "craft" centric Canadian brews. While searching I came across a bar up in Winooski called Mule Bar that not only carried some amazing Canadian brews, but also plenty of Hill Farmstead and other great beers. Turns out Mule Bar is a popular bar and eatery located in Winooski, Vermont. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, extensive beer selection, and creative food offerings, Mule Bar has become a favorite spot for both locals and visitors. They were kind enough to do half pours for me so I could try three different beers. Voyage (YUL): A Double IPA brewed in collaboration between Messorem and Track Brewing Company. They hopped this beer to full saturation with Motueka, Riwaka, and Nelson Sauvin CGX. Diesel dank notes with gooseberry and tangerine. Full mouthfeel, but not chewy (if that makes sense). MAQUETTE: A Double IPA brewed in collaboration between BreWskey and Le Ketch hopped with Rakau, Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka, and Motueka de chez Eggers Hops. Another saturated beer with a beautiful color. Tropical and dank. Song of Spring (2024): I couldn't pass up this fresh Hill Farmstead Beer. An American IPA hopped with Vermont grown Nugget and Cascade from Champlain Valley Hops along with Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Strata. Good bitterness balanced with grapefruit, tangerine, and pineapple. All flavors in perfect harmony. ____________ ”
“ I like the place for watching sports. Great beer selection. Food is very decent, but seats are hard! I need to try the hot dogs next time. I don't eat them often but if I do, I want a good one! ”
“ Awesome ambiance, ample seating (and window seating!), and some of the cheapest finds in the area! Amazing food and SO excited to say their impossible burger is just as good as a beef burger good variety of beers and loved the loaded tots! #orderatthebar ”
“ Came into this bar in Winooski for drinks and was actually impressed with the food. It didn't look like the place was anything special but the product and service made it. Mule Bar is more than some divy ass place. Actually has a pretty good menu of some healthy things and not just greasy junk. The food includes a few vegan items as well. At lunch it wasn't that busy. It's pretty cramped inside so it still felt like it was, but we got a few bar seats. The drink menu was why we came, and there was good stuff on this. Lots of local beers on tap to choose from. Of course they make mules. It's about $12 for a cocktail. The coolest sounding one was the Peanut Butter Jelly Thyme. It's peanut butter washed bourbon with plum, strawberry, and thyme bitters. Kind of like drinking a sandwich. Speaking of sandwiches, they had these to eat too. It's about $13 to get one. They have burgers, and they have the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Amazing fact: you can get a vegan version of it. They make the alternate with some kind of plant based patty. Get lots of great drinks and food. It's more of a bar, but the food is as good as at a restaurant. There's healthier options, including things okay for vegans and vegetarians. ”
“ For my beverage, I ordered a root beer, which was the best root beer I have ever tasted. For my main entrées, I had a fantabulous corn dog and dry-rub chicken wings, which were well-seasoned and incredibly delicious. The vibe was pretty chill, and the servers were very responsive and upbeat. ”
“ Stopped for some snacks at Mule Bar, mostly because we saw poutine on the menu and wanted to make sure we had it during our Burlington trip. The man at the bar was welcoming, and we sat down at the counter against the window with a nice view of Winooski and the park across the street. The poutine was good, though we do feel we've had better. The Mule Bar was a good stop for what we were looking for. ”
